Request for the current professional certificate*
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of the C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
The Current Professional Certificate will be drafted by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will forward to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard request for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the request, the C.F.R. will draft the certificate and forward it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will draft it and transmit it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will draft a Registry of records - with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county - and will hand them over to applicants with a signature for receipt.
The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, amounting to 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college, a file which will include the documents listed below.
Registration in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, by making an express request in this regard, meet the following conditions: hold an official pharmacy qualification, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (10% of the minimum wage).
The fee is paid into the account of the territorial college RO45UGBI0000332008373RON.
Suspension of membership*
The suspension of membership is made at the moment when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Suceava College of Pharmacists, a request by which they ask for the suspension of membership. At the moment of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training through a number of 40 EFC hours for that period. In support of the request, the following documents must also be attached:
The pharmacist is obliged, within 30 days from the resumption of activity, to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania.
*Duplicate Membership Certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the Suceava College of Pharmacists, according to the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the following documents listed below.
*Resumption of membership*
Resumption of membership is done based on an application, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, specifically the Suceava College of Pharmacists, through which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date, and in support of the request, the documents listed below are attached.
*Pharmacist transfer request*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the issuance of the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist is obliged to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, under signature, to the applicant. In the pharmacists' registry, the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring a complaint has been registered against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be sent to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
*
