Transfer of file for granting social assistance (VMG)*
Social assistance is granted based on an application and a statement on one's own responsibility, accompanied by supporting documents regarding the family composition and the income earned in the month prior to the submission of the application by its members.
Required documents for the file (in copy):
– application and statement on one's own responsibility;
– identity documents of the applicants;
– birth certificates of the children;
– marriage certificate or family record book;
– final decision for adoption approval, family placement of the minor, according to the law;
– document showing the applicant’s status as guardian or curator;
– documents showing that a family member is attending a form of education;
– documents showing inclusion in the category of persons with severe or accentuated disabilities, or grade I or II of invalidity, for those under care;
– certificate attesting that they are registered with the county employment agencies or the municipality of Bucharest, for employment and that they have not refused a job or participation in services to stimulate employment and vocational training offered by these agencies.
- net income earned (the month prior to submission of the application) and supporting documents are those mentioned in the application form (certificates regarding net salary, pension slips, unemployment aid, child allowance slip, etc.);
In the case of a consensual union (cohabitation), considered a beneficiary family, documents regarding the family composition and income of the applicant’s partner will also be presented.
