Procedure for issuing the coach card
Procedure regarding enrollment in the coach training course with a duration of one year (1080 hours reduced to 540)*
The procedure is addressed to higher education graduates with a bachelor's degree in the field of physical education and sports, with or without specialization/deepening in a branch of sport.
*Procedure regarding enrollment in the 2-year Coaches Training Course (1080 hours)*
The procedure targets the registration of applicants for the 2-year (1080 hours) Coach Training Course. The applications are submitted online during the period established according to the Instructions regarding the organization and conduct of the admission exam for the 2-year coach training course for the current year.
*Procedure regarding enrollment in the advanced training course for the qualification of sports (physical) trainer*
Procedure regarding the issuance of the professional development certificate*
This procedure is dedicated to coaches who participate in a professional development course organized by the national sports federation (within which the coach carries out their activity) in collaboration with the National Center for Training and Professional Development of Coaches.
*Procedure on the examination for coaches promotion at a higher level
The procedure is addressed to all coaches in Romania.

Procedure regarding the recognition of professional qualification titles for the coaching profession obtained in a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area, in the Swiss Confederation, or in a third country*
The procedure concerns the recognition of qualification titles for the occupation of coach obtained by Romanian or foreign citizens in a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, in the Swiss Confederation, or in a third country. The competent authority is the National Sports Agency through the National Center for Coach Training and Improvement.
