The professional foster carer is the natural person, certified under the law, who, through the activity carried out at their home, ensures the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children received in placement.

Persons residing in the territory of Satu Mare county, interested in becoming professional foster carers, shall submit an application for the evaluation of their capacity to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Satu Mare, accompanied by the documents listed below.

The certificate is issued by the Satu Mare Child Protection Commission and is valid for 3 years.
