Suspension of membership*
The suspension of membership is done when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the office of the territorial College, respectively the Salaj College of Pharmacists, a request by which they ask for the suspension of their membership. At the moment when requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days of resuming activity.
Request for Current Professional Certificate*
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below, we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and released by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, the College of Pharmacists of Romania will issue the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will create it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will keep a Register – with identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in that county – and will hand them over to applicants with proof of receipt.
The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College RO45BRDE410SV26208314100.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file that will include the documents attached below.
Request for transfer to another branch*
Request for transfer to another branch of the College of Pharmacists of Romania.
*Issuance of duplicate membership certificate*
If the holder loses, in any way, the Certificate of membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, upon request, a duplicate will be issued. To proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Certificate of membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania and the documents presented below.

Resumption of membership*
The reinstatement of membership is done based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits at the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, by which they request the reinstatement of membership starting from a certain date.

Enrollment in the territorial college following a transfer from another CFR branch.
