University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca*

The present procedure establishes the way by which the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca recognizes the doctoral diploma and the doctoral degree in sciences obtained abroad. The procedure respects the principle of legality, university autonomy, transparency, responsibility, ethical and deontological norms in force.

Through this procedure, the status of doctoral supervisor or habilitation obtained at an accredited higher education institution abroad, listed in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, or in accredited higher education institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level, is automatically recognized within USAMV Cluj-Napoca. It applies to citizens of a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation. Only in cases of temporary exercise, the provisions of Law no. 200 of 2004 and art. 296 of Law no. 1 of 2011 apply. The exercise of the rights conferred by the quality of doctoral supervisor or habilitation shall be carried out according to the legal regulations in force.
