Issuing the certificate of compliance of studies with the provisions of Directive 2005/36/EC regarding the recognition of professional qualifications for carrying out teaching activities at the pre-university level abroad*
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of the member states of the European Union, citizens of the signatory states of the agreement regarding the European Economic Area and of the Swiss Confederation, who have studied in Romania and are requesting, for the purpose of conducting teaching activities in one of the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation, independently or as an employee, the issuance of a certificate of compliance of studies with the provisions of Directive 2005/36/EC regarding the recognition of professional qualifications.
Issuing the certificate regarding the certification of competencies for the teaching profession, for citizens who studied in Romania, for carrying out teaching activities at the pre-university level abroad*
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens from member states of the European Union, citizens from states that have signed the agreement on the European Economic Area and from the Swiss Confederation, who have graduated in Romania with psychopedagogical training and request, for the purpose of carrying out teaching activities at the pre-university level, in one of the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation, either independently or as an employee, the issuance of a certificate attesting the competences for the profession of teacher in pre-university education.
*Recognition of psychopedagogical training programs completed in the member states of the European Union, in the EEA or in the Swiss Confederation, for the purpose of continuing studies or carrying out teaching activities in Romania*
Recognition consists of the evaluation and compatibility of the level, field, and/or specialization of the completed psycho-pedagogical training program in the member states of the European Union, the states that are signatories of the agreement concerning the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation with that of the national education system, taking into account the admission requirements to the respective psycho-pedagogical training program, and may conclude with the issuance of a certificate granting the holder the same rights for continuing the psycho-pedagogical training program and/or access to the labor market, as graduates of accredited psycho-pedagogical training programs in Romania.
The procedure applies to citizens of the member states of the European Union, states that are signatories of the agreement concerning the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation, who request the recognition, in Romania, of the psycho-pedagogical training programs completed in those states for the purpose of continuing the psycho-pedagogical training and/or accessing the labor market in Romania.
The recognition certificate for the psycho-pedagogical training program is the document certifying that the holder has graduated from a psycho-pedagogical training program in a member state of the European Union, a signatory state of the agreement concerning the European Economic Area, or in the Swiss Confederation.
*Recognition of specific initial training for the teaching career in pre-university education in Romania*
The recognition of specific initial training for a teaching career in pre-university education in Romaniaconsists in the evaluation and compatibility assessment of the level, field, and/or specialization completed in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and abroad, by reference to the Romanian education system, taking into account the conditions for practicing the teaching profession in pre-university education in Romania.
The recognition is carried out by the Ministry of Education and Research, through the General Directorate for Management, Teaching Career and School Network in Pre-University Education, the competent authority for the teaching profession in pre-university education and may be concluded with the issuance of a certificate recognizing the right to practice the teaching profession in pre-university education in Romania, granting the holder the right to register for the competition to occupy vacant/reserved positions/chairs in a pre-university education institution in Romania, under the conditions provided by current legislation.
