The procedure presents the steps to follow and the documents that must be submitted for registration for the professional re-certification exam of the mountain rescuer.
The profession of mountain rescuer can only be practiced by a certified individual who meets all the conditions set out in Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the establishment of measures for the prevention of mountain accidents and the organization of rescue operations in the mountains.

For registration for the professional re-certification exam of the mountain rescuer, the applicant submits the necessary documents online or by mail in copy, and must present them in original before taking the certification exam. The final documents will be sent in original, by mail, to the applicant or, as appropriate, to the Salvamont service to which they belong.
