Ion Ionescu de la Brad University of Life Sciences in Iasi*

The purpose of this procedure is to implement, at the internal level, the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition by higher education institutions of teaching positions in university education obtained in accredited university institutions from abroad, approved by OM no. 5.922 dated December 6, 2016, and to establish the responsibilities of USAMV Iași regarding its obligations, according to the aforementioned legal provisions, specifically ensuring the methodological framework for evaluation and automatic recognition of teaching positions in university education obtained in accredited university institutions from abroad, in a unified, transparent, and legal context, closely correlated with the provisions of Law no. 200/2004 concerning the recognition of diplomas and qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.

This procedure regulates the automatic recognition at the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iaşi of the status of PhD supervisor or habilitation obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad, in accordance with the National Education Law no. 1/2011, with subsequent additions and amendments; the Code of doctoral university studies, approved by Government Decision no. 681/2011, with subsequent additions and amendments; Order MENCS no. 5921/2016 approving the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition by higher education institutions or doctoral studies organizing institutions in Romania of the status of PhD supervisor obtained in accredited university institutions abroad; the Charter of the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iaşi; the institutional regulations for the organization and conduct of doctoral university study programs at IOSUD - “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iaşi. It applies to citizens from a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation. Only in the case of temporary exercise, the provisions of Law no. 200 of 2004 and art. 296 of Law no. 1 of 2011 apply. The exercise of the rights conferred by the status of PhD supervisor or habilitation is carried out according to the legal regulations in force.

The purpose of this procedure is to implement at the internal level the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad. The provisions of this procedure apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.
