Enrollment in the College of Pharmacists from Mehedinti*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making an express request to this effect, fulfill the following conditions: hold an official qualification in pharmacy, are not found in any cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the territorial college, amounting to 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 YEAR after graduation and 235 lei for other persons).

Request for duplicate member certificate*
In order to proceed with issuing a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists MEHEDINTI, according to the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents presented below.

Resumption of membership status*
Resuming membership is done based on an application, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists MEHEDINTI, by which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date.

Request for the current professional certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we wish to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in the consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementing Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position), shall address the county colleges in order to obtain the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of the C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drafted by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issue;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, the C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania which will draft and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will create a Register of records – with identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists from the respective county – and will hand them over to the applicants under receipt signature.
For obtaining the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file that will include the documents attached below.

Pharmacist transfer*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the transfer note is issued, the requesting pharmacist is obliged to pay up to date the dues owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, under signature, to the applicant. In the register of pharmacists (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If, at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, a complaint has been filed against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be sent to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring. Suspension of membership*
Suspension of membership occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the territorial College headquarters a request asking for the suspension of membership. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days of resuming activity.
