The rights of persons with disabilities*
Ensuring access to social assistance services for all people in difficulty, developing the social services system, respecting the rights of the child both in the family and in the protection system, developing the network of social services at the community level, improving and diversifying forms of support for people with disabilities, supporting those seeking employment, preventing the separation of the child from the parents, support for young people from the institutionalized system, family placement for integration into normal social life.

Granting of child-raising allowance*
The allowance for raising children up to 2 years old, or up to 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, is a form of support to which persons are entitled if, in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth, they obtained income for 12 months from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities subject to income tax according to the provisions of Law no. 571/2003 regarding the Fiscal Code, with subsequent amendments and completions – income subject to tax, or they were in one or more of the situations called assimilated periods. Either of the child's biological parents may benefit from this right, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Granting the guaranteed minimum income*
Social assistance is granted monthly, in addition to the net monthly income of the family or single person, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. The payment of social assistance is provided by the Vaslui County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice. For the amounts granted as social assistance, one of the adult members of the family must perform, monthly, actions or works of local interest for all family members, without exceeding the normal working schedule; failure to fulfill this obligation results in the suspension of social assistance payment, and if within 3 months from suspension this obligation is not met, the social assistance payment ceases.

Granting heating aids for housing*
Families and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 750 lei per family member and use natural gas, electricity, or solid fuels for heating their home - Romanian citizens, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as the case may be, residence in Romania, established under Romanian law;
Families who have a monthly income of up to 786 lei per family member and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 1,082 lei and who use thermal energy for heating their home, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as the case may be, residence in Romania, established under Romanian law.

Granting the allowance for family support*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for low-income families who are raising and caring for children up to the age of 18 who attend an educational form according to the law and is granted by the decision of the mayor of Zapodeni commune.
The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement the income of families in order to ensure better conditions for raising and educating children, as well as to encourage the attendance by school-age children, under the care of low-income families, of courses of an educational form, organized according to the law, according to art.1, para.2 of Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with the subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting educational incentive in the form of social vouchers for kindergarten*
Social vouchers for kindergarten are granted to children from disadvantaged families who participate in activities organized within preschool education units and who are at risk both of dropping out and of not attending preschool classes, due to limited access to economic resources and education. The minimum nominal monthly value of the educational incentive, granted in the form of social vouchers for kindergarten, is 50 lei/month.
The social voucher for kindergarten is granted to children from disadvantaged families, provided that the following criteria are cumulatively met:
- the child is enrolled in a preschool education unit, and the monthly income per family member is up to twice the level of the guaranteed minimum income for a single person, as provided by Law no. 416/2001 regarding the guaranteed minimum income, with subsequent amendments and additions.

Granting state allowance for the child*
The state child allowance is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state child allowance is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18, who are attending high school or vocational education, organized under the law, until they finish, except for those who repeat the school year, except for those who repeat for health reasons, proven with a medical certificate.
State child allowance is also granted to children of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are residents, under the law, in Romania, if they live together with their parents.
This right may be claimed by either of the child's natural parents, as well as by the person who has adopted a child, provided the eligibility criteria are met.
