Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives, and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualifications as general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States.
The activities for certifying Romanian qualifications as general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, countries belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these qualifications according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as amended and supplemented. As the case may be, certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the release of the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian qualifications, accompanied by the appropriate documents, are sent via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired membership of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or if the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is required to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not meet the deadline for completion, upon its expiry, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialty structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
