The Romanian citizen or citizen of another Member State in the EU, EEA or of the Swiss confederation, who has an uninterrupted practice in his speciality of at least 4 years and has a an academic specialisation, confirmed by a bachelor degree in the field of forensic expertise for which the application is submitted.

Valid criminal record certificate*

The applicant will submit the criminal record certificate, which is within its validity period. Romanian citizens will submit the original criminal record certificate. Citizens of a European Union Member State, other than Romania, will submit the criminal record certificate accompanied by the multilingual standard form – an aid instrument for translation [Annex XI to Regulation (EU) 2016/1191]. Citizens of Member States of the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation will submit the criminal record certificate, apostilled or legalized, as the case may be, accompanied by its legalized translation.*
Medical certificate of health stating that the applicant is medically fit to fulfill the role of forensic expert.*
