Details

In accordance with Government Decision 899/2003, with subsequent amendments and completions, and OMTI 3850/2024, with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators who carry out activities of installation, repair, or inspection of tachographs used in road transport or speed limiters fitted on motor vehicles, based on an audit for verifying technical capability conducted at each of the applicant's workshops. This procedure describes the way in which RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, up to the time when, by mutual agreement with the applicant, the date for conducting the audit is established.

The dissatisfied applicant for authorization may use the appeal channels provided in common law.
