This procedure describes how entities with legal personality can apply for authorization, more precisely authorization requirements for testing laboratories operating in the Construction and Construction Materials field. The authorization attests the legal competence to issue, under the law, documents stating the fulfilment of construction standards and quality standards of construction materials The analysis and testing laboratories in construction perform tests for quality control, during the execution of construction works or/existing construction elements, necessary for technical expertise of buildings and tracking their behavior over time, and will be referred to as laboratory procedure

Appeal routes
In the situation where the applicant laboratory does not meet the authorization requirements, the authorization commission shall communicate to it, by a written note, the decision to reject the authorization request, which may be contested within 10 days from the date of communication. The appeals submitted by the applicant legal entities whose authorization request has been rejected are received by the I.S.C. and are reviewed by the authorization commission together with all the documents submitted in the file, which will decide, as the case may be, the acceptance/rejection of the appeal.
