Authorized natural persons and legal entities, registered in the National Register of Phonograms, who produce phonograms, are required to register all phonograms in the mentioned register, according to art.9 para.1 of G.O. 25/2006.

Authorized natural persons or legal entities, who produce phonograms on the territory of Romania, are required to register all phonograms in the National Register of Phonograms, before their introduction into commercial circulation, according to art.9 para.1 of G.O. 25/2006 republished, amended and supplemented by G.E.O. 43/2010.

The registration documents must contain the following:

Standard requests Forms 5, 6:

Documents - copy of the invoice/payment order;

-one copy of the phonogram shall be submitted within 30 days from the date of issuance of the certificate.

The fees for registration operations are provided by G.D. 1086/2008, as follows:

-registration of phonograms produced on the territory of Romania - 50 lei/phonogram title;

-urgent fee, additional charge 300 lei;

-supplementary request for completing missing documents, following the rejection of the initial registration request -10 lei.
