The "Professional Scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending professional education, consisting of monthly financial support.
The "Professional Scholarship" is also granted to children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania, or to foreigners, citizens of the European Union/the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence/stay in Romania, who attend professional education.
Students in professional education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional Scholarship" and the financial support granted to students under the national social protection program "High School Money".
At the Ministry of Education level, a national monitoring commission for granting the "Professional Scholarship" is established.
