The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "Bani de liceu," through which it provides financial support for students in high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the Bani de liceu portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are under the care of families whose monthly gross income per family member, realized in the last 3 months prior to submitting the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or who are under guardianship or custodianship, in the case of meeting the income condition stated above.

The documents will be submitted in copy, provided that, at the time of application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the school year 2018-2019, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, if all the legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to the indexation of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum eligibility threshold for granting the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the eligibility threshold for support with the current economic situation.
