This procedure provides the method for recognizing the title of specialist veterinarian, in order to ensure a regulated framework for verifying the documents submitted by veterinarians holding such an official title and for issuing the decision of recognition of this title.
The College of Veterinary Surgeons, as the competent authority for the veterinary profession, recognizes the title of specialist veterinarian obtained after graduating from a European College in the relevant field.

If the applicant is dissatisfied with the result of the verification, they may appeal this within 30 days from the receipt of the communication. To resolve appeals, the Executive Bureau of the National Council of the College of Veterinary Doctors will appoint a committee consisting of three members who will analyze the matters mentioned in the appeal and will communicate a response to the applicant within a maximum of 15 days from registration. If the applicant is also dissatisfied with the response to the appeal, they may address the competent court of law.
