Details

The professional foster carer is the natural person certified under the conditions of Government Decision no. 679/2003 regarding the conditions, procedures, and status of the professional foster carer, and according to Government Decision no. 502/2017 regarding the organization and functioning of the Child Protection Commission, who ensures through the activity carried out at their home the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they receive into foster care.

Through the placement of the child with the PFAMP, the protection of the child is ensured, requiring the establishment of a special protection measure that involves the upbringing, care, and education of the child by a placement person/family (P.F.) or by a professional foster carer (A.M.P.), this protection also includes placing the child in an emergency regime.
