Social benefits that remain uncollected by the deceased person with disabilities, representing the allowance and/or the personal complementary budget for the month in which death occurred and, where applicable, the social benefits due and unpaid until the date of death, are paid to the surviving spouse, children, parents or, in their absence, to other heirs, under common law conditions, upon their request. The amounts provided above may be requested at the territorial agency for payments and social inspection by the heir, within the general limitation period, based on the document attesting the status of heir, as well as, in the case where there are several heirs, a self-declaration that the other heirs do not request these amounts.
