According to OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003, with subsequent modifications and completions, and OMTCT 2.131/2005, with subsequent modifications and completions, RAR certifies/recertifies the professional competence of the workshop manager(s) in the field of repair and/or functional adjustment of road vehicles, in workshops for dismantling decommissioned vehicles, as well as in the field of replacing chassis and/or bodies of road vehicles, with the exception of workshops that carry out activities of replacing operating materials, replacing and repairing tires and inner tubes, wheel balancing, replacement of engine exhaust gas systems - mufflers without catalytic systems.

This procedure describes how RAR issues the Certificate of Professional Competence with a validity of 3 years.
