This methodology establishes the procedure by which the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad, is carried out within the University of Craiova.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third states, who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other states included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.
The documents submitted in the file must be in certified copy (according to GEO 41/2016). These will be in Romanian, authorized and legalized translation.
