Regulation

This methodology establishes the procedure for the recognition, within Ioan Slavici University of Timișoara, of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad.

Application

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries, who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS No. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.

The teaching profession is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania with subsequent amendments and completions.*
