This methodology establishes the way in which the recognition of the status of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited foreign higher education institutions is carried out within the University of Craiova.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries, who have obtained the status of doctoral supervisor in accredited higher education institutions in the Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.

The documents submitted in the file must be certified copies (according to GEO 41/2016). These shall be in Romanian, authorized and legalized translation.
