This procedure, code ACD-26, establishes the rules and responsibilities regarding the recognition by “Danubius” University of Galați of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad for the purpose of enrolling in postgraduate programs, obtaining habilitation, occupying a teaching or research position.

Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences by UDG shall be submitted within 15 calendar days from the receipt of the decision. The appeal made by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved within a maximum of 30 days from the date of registration, by an appeal committee appointed by the Rector of UDG, composed of experts in the applicant's doctoral field.
The university consults, if necessary, CNRED and CNATDCU. The evaluation report of the appeal committee will be discussed by the UDG Administration Council, which will issue an irrevocable decision at the UDG level. The result is sent to DRU, which will communicate it to the applicant.
