This procedure establishes the method by which the automatic recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained in educational institutions is carried out by Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu. The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in:

- accredited institutions of higher education or research - development from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

- accredited institutions of higher education or research - development included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated, for the purpose of establishing on the territory of Romania;

- accredited institutions of higher education or research-development which are the subject of a mutual recognition agreement, concluded at the governmental or inter-university level.

Submitting the file:

The recognition file can be submitted directly by the applicant to the Rectorate of the University or it can be sent by mail to the address: Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu, Bulevardul Republicii no. 1, postal code 210152, Târgu-Jiu, Romania. The file is registered at the University's Registry Office and sent for resolution.
