Procedure regarding the recognition by Apollonia University of Iași of academic teaching positions in higher education obtained abroad at accredited foreign higher education institutions*

Details

The procedure establishes the manner in which automatic recognition is carried out by Apollonia University of Iași (UAI) of teaching positions obtained in accredited university institutions abroad, for persons requesting to occupy a teaching position within UAI, recognizing the teaching positions in university education obtained at:

a) accredited higher education or research and development institutions from a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

b) accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved/updated by order of the relevant minister;

c) accredited higher education or research and development institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at the intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

The recognition of teaching positions obtained abroad according to this methodology is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of UAI.

The application must obligatorily mention all the applicant's contact (correspondence) details for communication during the recognition process, with the applicant assuming responsibility for the correctness of the declared data. Failure to process the application cannot be attributed to the university if the applicant does not follow up on the received correspondence or does not respond in time to requests regarding the recognition file.*

Appeal routes

The objection submitted by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved by the UAI Senate within no more than 45 days from the date of registration at the university. The Senate's decision regarding the objection is irrevocable at the level of Apollonia University of Iași and will be communicated to the applicant by mail at the correspondence address indicated.
