For the granting of heating assistance, mayors will send to the territorial agencies, both in writing and electronically, the centralized situation regarding the recipients of assistance, for each heating system, a situation which will also include the average net monthly income per family member/per single person, as appropriate, and the calculated value of the heating assistance. In the case of heating assistance, the centralized situation is sent both in writing and electronically to suppliers of centralized thermal energy, natural gas/electricity, and owners/tenants associations, in which case it also includes the value of the assistance calculated according to the law, the name and identification details of the supplier, as well as the applicant's client code. The mayor's orders contain the first and last name of the recipient, the amount of heating assistance granted under the conditions provided by the law, the period for which it is granted, and, in the case of beneficiaries who use solid and/or petroleum fuels, the date the payment is made. In the case of requesting assistance for electricity, social investigations are mandatory, for all situations, within 15 working days from the date the application is registered, in order to verify the heating system used. Exceptions are made for recipients of minimum inclusion income granted under Law 196/2016, with subsequent amendments and additions, for whom social investigations have already been carried out.*
