Procedure for the recognition of professional qualifications

Details

The procedure is applicable in case of settling in Romania, for professional qualifications obtained in an EU, EEA, or EFTA state by:

a. citizens of EU, EEA, and EFTA member states (including Romanian citizens)

b. family members of a citizen of an EU, EEA, or EFTA member state

c. long-term beneficiaries of the residency status granted by one of the EU, EEA, or EFTA states

d. citizens of third countries, beneficiaries of the status of permanent resident in Romania.

Persons falling under points b, c, d will also provide a copy of the documents proving their mentioned status.

The profession of dental technician, regulated by Law 96/2007, is included in the “List of regulated professions in Romania” from Annex no. 2 of Law 200/2004 – regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania*

Copy of the original document issued by the competent authority from the member state of origin or provenance where the qualification was obtained. The document must show that the obtained title grants the applicant the right to access the profession of dental technician or to practice it in the territory of that state, and it must specify the level of qualification obtained, in accordance with Directive 36/2005, art.11.*

Proof of payment of the file analysis fee: 150 lei. (copy)*
