- The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant doctor has, as the case may be, their domicile/residence or workplace/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to the persons provided for by art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their diploma in the last 5 years.
