The compensation procedure is addressed to legal entities with headquarters in Romania who wish to settle mutual, unpaid/collected debts reflected in their own accounting based on compensation orders as non-monetary payment instruments.
According to the Methodological Norms approved by Government Decision no. 773/2019, art. 3, letter f), the compensating legal entity is defined as a legal entity, regardless of the form of organization and type of ownership, as well as legal entities that are not dissolved or in bankruptcy, who request the settlement of payment obligations through compensation, including those subject to Law no. 85/2014 regarding insolvency prevention and insolvency procedures, as subsequently amended and supplemented, with the approval of the judicial administrator.
All incoming/outgoing documents are submitted/downloaded from the specialized compensation platform at https://gama.cppi.ro, where the Compensation Information System, acronym CIS, can be found.
Stages of the compensation procedure:
1) creating access on the compensation site https://gama.cppi.ro;

2) defining user accounts;
3) defining representations;
4) uploading/validating the invoices to be compensated;
5) electronic signing of compensation orders and the lists of compensated invoices.
