Necessary documents for granting the state allowance for children born abroad as well as for children whose parents have different nationalities and/or different domiciles

1. PARENTS' AND CHILD'S IDENTITY DOCUMENTS (identity cards, provisional identity card, passport, residence card, temporary residence permit, social insurance certificate}

2. CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE issued by the Romanian authorities (certificate with CNP, not translated certificates)

3. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE/ COURT DECISION OF CHILD CUSTODY IN CASE OF DIVORCE;

4. Annex 1 - Additional request for information for children born in the EU

5. JOINT NOTARIAL DECLARATION of both parents, referring to:

§ The period they lived and worked abroad and whether they worked under an employment contract

§ Mentioning whether they requested and have/have not received benefits for the child from the respective country;

§ the date of entry into the country;

§ the reason for not submitting the application for this right until now;

§ mention that from birth until now the child has been under the permanent care of the parents and lives together with them;

§ other documents at the request of the County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection

6. Certificate from the competent authorities of the country where the child was born, showing that no equivalent benefits have been received
