This procedure applies in cases where a graduate requests the issuance of a certificate of authenticity for the approval of study documents by the Ministry of Education - CNRED. The certificate of authenticity certifies the authenticity, validity, and accuracy of the entries in the study document and the university documents mentioned at points 2a-g).
Scope of application
The procedure applies to graduates of the Maritime University of Constanța, long-term or short-term university studies, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies.
The study documents for which the certificate of authenticity can be requested are the following:
1. Study documents issued by the Maritime University of Constanța,
2. Annexes to the study documents and/or university school documents issued by the Maritime University of Constanța, respectively:
a) diploma supplement;
b) transcript of records;
c) academic situation;
d) analytical curriculum;
e) certificate regarding schooling/graduation;
f) certificate attesting the student status;

Appeal routes
The appeal is submitted to the University within 15 calendar days from the non-receipt of the notification; afterwards, the university's decision may be challenged in court.
