The beneficiaries of the social services provided in the “Dignitas Multifunctional Social Center” are:

adult males who have left the child protection system, do not have housing, and do not have the financial means necessary to rent or buy a home.

The access/admission conditions to the center are as follows:

Persons who wish to benefit from the services of the “Dignitas Multifunctional Social Center” must submit an application at the headquarters of the Oradea Social Assistance Department, to the Public Relations and Initial Evaluation Service, Primăriei St., no. 42.

The application will include personal data, contact information, and copies of the following documents will be attached:

a) Required documents:

- identity card;

- birth certificate;

- education documents;

- proof attesting that the applicant was institutionalized (decision regarding the termination of placement/ certificate);

- and in original, the following documents:

- certificate from the workplace;

- medical certificate stating that the applicant does not suffer from contagious or severe mental illnesses;

b) Eligibility criteria:

Adult male person from the child protection system

a) employed under a labor contract, but income does not allow renting a home at the market rate,

b) unemployed

c) performs occasional work

d) has qualifications but is not employed

e) does not have any qualifications

c) Beneficiary selection

For the evaluation and selection of beneficiaries, a Commission is set up by decision of the Local Council, which analyzes the requests for temporary accommodation in the center.

Applicants will be psychologically evaluated to identify aspects or specific problems related to the life situations that the person is going through at that moment.

Based on the selection process, the commission will analyze the results obtained in the psychological evaluation and will interview potential beneficiaries;

The selection and admission of beneficiaries will take place throughout the year based on the applications submitted to the Oradea Social Assistance Department, depending on the number of available places, and the Commission will meet quarterly or as often as necessary.

d) Admission/rejection decision:

Following the interview, the Commission will decide on the admission or rejection of the accommodation request. If admitted, applicants will be issued Admission Decisions to the Center by the Executive Director of the Oradea Social Assistance Department for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension, and if the request is rejected, the applicant will receive a written response regarding the Commission’s decision.

e) The contract for providing social services is concluded by the Oradea Social Assistance Department for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension

f) The rental contract is concluded by the Oradea Real Estate Heritage Department within Oradea City Hall, and the beneficiary will pay a monthly fee for the rental of the dwelling, the rate being established by Decision of the Oradea Local Council.
