The procedure is addressed to individuals who own means of transport and request removal of the means of transport from the fiscal records.

The removal from the fiscal records is carried out by the Fiscal Certificate Issuing Department within the Pitești City Hall, at the taxpayer's request based on a declaration for removal from the fiscal records, completed and signed by the applicant.

the right of ownership over the means of transport,owners must pay all payment obligations owed to the local budget of the administrative-territorial unit where the asset being transferred is fiscally registered. For the asset being transferred, the owner must pay the tax owed for the year in which the asset is transferred.

Owners of goods who transfer means of transport do not have to present the fiscal certificate when they use the transfer-acquisition contract form for a means of transport (model 2016 ITL-054) approved by Order no. 1069/1578/114 of 28.07.2016 for transfer.

Removal from the fiscal records is completed within 30 days from the date of the request.

For the identification of individuals in relation to the local tax authority and the establishment of their tax domicile, the following documents are attached electronically, as applicable: - identity document; Birth certificate (in the case of a minor owner who does not have an identity card, in which case the request will be completed by their legal guardian); Tax registration certificate (document by which the tax identification number/tax registration code is individualized and is used in case the taxpayer does not have a personal identification number). The compliance with the original of the copies is performed by the taxpayer/payer by adding the statement "true to the original" and by their signature, pursuant to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 on the Fiscal Procedure Code, as subsequently amended and supplemented.*

For the representation of taxpayers in relation to the local tax authority, the following documents must be attached electronically: - power of attorney - identity document of the proxy. The conformity with the original of the copies is carried out by the taxpayer/payer by writing the mention "certified true copy" and by signing it, according to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code, as subsequently amended and supplemented.*

For removing the means of transport from the fiscal records, the following supporting documents must be attached electronically, as applicable: 1) Transfer document: a) contract of transfer-acquisition of a means of transport b) certificate of destruction (certificate issued by economic operators carrying out dismantling activities, etc.) c) deregistration certificate 2) Vehicle identity card 3) Registration certificate 4) Owner's identity document(s) or power of attorney/authorization, in accordance with legal provisions, from the owner of the asset; The conformity of copies with the original is done by the taxpayer/payer by writing the statement "conform with the original" and signing, according to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code with subsequent amendments and additions.*
