Certification of compliance with hygiene and public health regulations applies, at the request of the activity holder, for the assessment of compliance with legal regulations concerning public health for operational objectives conducting activities with a risk to the population's health.
Certification of compliance with hygiene and public health regulations is mandatory for:
a) activities involving the use of biocidal products for disinfection, pest control, and rodent control in spaces used by the population;
b) hairdressing activities and other beauty activities - starting January 1, 2021.
The documentation required for certification of compliance consists of:
a) application and supporting documents specific to the field of activity, according to the attached model
b) technical report describing how the requirements provided by the legal regulations specific to the field of activity are met;
c) proof of payment of the certification fee (400 RON or 550 RON for urgent processing)
For the settlement of the application for certification of compliance with hygiene, public health, and other regulations specific to the field of activity, after analyzing the submitted documentation and evaluating the objective, the competent authority issues a written notification.
The notification will include the conclusions regarding compliance with the specific legal regulations in force. The notification is valid as long as the data in the technical report do not change.
If non-compliances are found, these are communicated to the applicant specifying the legal provisions that are not met.
The resolution of certification requests will be done within a maximum of 20 working days from their registration.
