National
County public health departments and the Bucharest municipality public health department authorize home care providers, based on a self-declaration, who meet the following criteria:
a) the founding act/document must expressly mention the provision of home care as a main activity;
b) the existence of specialized staff in accordance with the provisions of art. 6;
c) the existence of a job description for each employee, specifying the level of professional training, competencies, and responsibilities;
d) the existence of headquarters for a home care dispatch center;
e) the existence of equipment for storing and accessing medical and communication documents, specific to the field of activity.
Home care is understood to mean any medical or medical-related care activity provided by specialized staff at the patient's home, which contributes to improving their physical and mental wellbeing. ACCORDING TO ORDER No. 2520/2022 of August 29, 2022
