The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch for Land Improvements coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.
The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension of the approval may be granted upon a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit, at least 5 days before the expiration of the validity period of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and after its verification on site.
The approval extension will have a different registration number from the ANIF approvals issuance register and is granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a further extension of the approval validity is not possible, and the applicant must obtain, according to the law, a new ANIF approval.
ANIF issues approvals within 30 days of the submission of the documentation.
