The member certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as the case may be, domicile/residence or workplace/unit where they will carry out their activity. - The member certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to the persons stipulated in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, according to art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not found in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility stipulated by law;
c) are medically fit to exercise the medical profession;
d) have not discontinued the exercise of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
