The issuance of the Current Professional Certificate is done based on Decision 14/2018 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physicians.
The current professional certificate is issued by the College of Physicians of Romania, through the territorial branch of the C.M.R. of which the doctor is or was a member, the data being valid for the period during which the doctor is or was registered in the respective branch.
If the doctor was a member of the CMR in two or more territorial branches, he or she will obtain a current professional certificate from each of these branches.
For the issuance of the current professional certificate at the request of the holder, he or she submits to the competent territorial branch the following documents:
a) standard application form;
b) proof of identity (a certified true copy of the identity card/passport);
c) proof of payment of the fee into the account of the territorial branch that issues the document, the amount being set at the level of each territorial branch by Council decision.
The documents may also be sent by postal or courier services, as well as by electronic means with digital signature.
The document will be issued within a maximum of 30 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
The current professional certificate is valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issue.
