The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial college of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose area the applicant doctor, as the case may be, has his/her domicile/residence or workplace/unit where he/she is to carry out his/her activity. - The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted, upon request, to persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official qualification in medicine, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any situation of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit for the practice of the medical profession;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or obtained their degree in the last 5 years.
