- For the authorization to purchase the first lethal weapon, the applicant is required to submit to the competent police authority the file containing the documents provided in art. 5 para. (1) of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 295/2004 regarding the regime of weapons and ammunition, approved by Government Decision no. 11/2018.
- For the authorization to purchase non-lethal weapons subject to authorization, applicants shall submit to the competent police authority a file that must include the documents provided in art. 5 para. (1) letters a)-e) and g)-i).
- After analyzing the file and carrying out the verifications provided by law, the competent police authority issues the purchase authorization under the conditions of art. 7 of the above-mentioned Methodological Norms.
- The authorization is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, with the possibility of extension, through a reasoned request, for a new period of 90 days, under the conditions of art. 8 of the Methodological Norms.
- To simplify the document submission process and reduce time spent at the counter, the application and related documents may be submitted electronically, exclusively via the eARM online platform. For online submission of the application, select the "Lansează solicitare" button, through which you access the eARM online platform.
