According to art. 95-99 of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 295/2004 on the regime of weapons and ammunition, approved by Government Decision no. 11/2018, legal entities who, under the conditions provided by art. 67 para. (2)-(4) of Law no. 295/2004, wish to possess and, as the case may be, carry and use lethal / non-lethal weapons subject to authorization, must first request the issuance of a possession and/or, as the case may be, use permit for weapons, from the territorially competent Weapons, Explosives and Dangerous Substances department. After analyzing the submitted documents and conducting the necessary checks, the competent police authority issues the authorization, if all the conditions provided by law are met.
