PROCEDURE DESCRIPTION FOR PCUe

In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Generalist Nurses, Midwives, and Medical Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, draws up and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of Romanian qualification titles of generalist nurse, midwife, and medical nurse, in the other EU Member States.

The activities for certifying the Romanian qualification titles of generalist nurse, midwife, and medical nurse, in other EU Member States, consist in preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation, for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 7 September 2005 regarding the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented.As appropriate, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.

Online applications for issuing the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the appropriate documents, are to be sent through PCUe to the county branch/the Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.

If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or if the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not meet the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.

The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National level, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
