The issuance of the certificate and badge for tourist guide is carried out by the central public authority responsible in the field of tourism, at the applicant's request, based on the application accompanied by the documentation provided for in OMEAT no. 180/2023. Within a maximum of 30 days from the date of registration of the complete documentation, the certificate and badge for tourist guide are issued in the applicant's name.

The remedies in case of dispute, between the central public institution responsible in the field of tourism and the applicant, are those provided by Law no. 554/2004 on administrative litigation, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
