Authorized natural and legal persons, registered in the National Register of Phonograms, who import or produce phonograms, are obliged to register all phonograms in the mentioned register, according to art.9 para.1 of O.G. 25/2006.

Authorized natural persons or legal persons who produce phonograms on the territory of Romania have the obligation to register all phonograms in the National Register of Phonograms before introducing them into the commercial circuit, according to art.9 para.1 of O.G. 25/2006 republished, amended, and supplemented by O.U.G. 43/2010.

Documents for registration must contain the following:

Standard requests: Forms 5, 6

Copies of documents:

- copy of invoice/payment order;

- a copy of the phonogram must be submitted within 30 days from the date the certificate is issued

The fees for registration operations are stipulated in H.G.1086/2008, as follows:

- registration of phonograms produced on the territory of Romania - 50 lei/phonogram title;

- application for completion to complete missing documents, following rejection of the initial registration request - 10 lei.

Payment is made at the ORDA cashier at Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, sector 1, Bucharest, or into account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at the Treasury Sector 1, Bucharest, CUI 4266995.
