The order rejecting the request for granting or re-acquiring Romanian citizenship can be challenged, within 15 days from the date of communication, at the Administrative and Fiscal Disputes Section of the Bucharest Tribunal. The tribunal's decision can be appealed at the Administrative and Fiscal Disputes Section of the Bucharest Court of Appeal.
