Granting access, based on the automatic recognition of professional experience, for persons wishing to exercise in Romania the activities included in Annex IV to Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council*

Individuals, Romanian citizens or citizens of EU member states, EEA or the Swiss Confederation who wish to carry out on the territory of Romania, as employees, self-employed workers or company directors, one or more activities listed in Annex no. 2 to Order 695/2016 may request automatic recognition of professional experience by issuance of a CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.

The certificate allows the applicant to access, on the territory of Romania, the practice of the same activity or occupation as the one for which they were qualified in another EU member state, EEA or the Swiss Confederation and to exercise it under the same conditions as Romanian citizens.

The procedure is applied by the Directorate for Employment Policies, Skills and Professional Mobility within the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection through the issuance of a certificate.
