The procedure is addressed to Romanian citizens residing abroad, who are temporarily living in Romania for obtaining the provisional identity card.
For court decisions which establish the holder’s civil status, pronounced within the European Union and bearing an enforcement order, translated and legalized copies must be submitted, and for those pronounced outside the European Union, an exequatur is required, bearing an enforcement order, or recognition of the judgment by the competent judicial authorities.
